Three Things Thursday- Earth Day Edition.

1.

A little Earth Day humor. I found this picture on line and it made me laugh. Not so much the mobile garden, but the poor little boy in the backseat. Ha!

2.

Eco-friendly all-purpose cleaning spray.

Did you know that lavender oil has natural antiseptic and anitfungal properties? Here are quick and easy directions to make your own lavender spray to use around your home.

In a spray bottle, add 6 drops of lavender essential oil to one pint of water. Shake and spray.

An added bonus, if your three-year-old decides to invade your cleaning supplies and initiates an one-sided water fight with your dogs, you won't have nasty dog-smell in your home anymore.

3.

Lastly, I will leave you with these beautiful lyrics. I played this song on repeat as I enjoyed our wonderful Earth this morning while running at the lake.
Thank you God, for this amazing home we call Earth,
and the promise of so much more to come.

"Before the Morning" by Josh Wilson

Do you wonder why you have to
Feel the things that hurt you
If there’s a God who loves you where is He now?

Maybe there are things you can’t see,
And all those things are happening
To bring a better ending

Someday somehow you’ll see, you’ll see.

Would you dare would you dare to believe?
That you still have a reason to sing
Cause the pain that you’ve been feeling
It can’t compare to the joy that’s coming
So hold on you gotta wait for the light.
Press on and just fight the good fight.
Cause the pain that you’ve been feeling
It’s just the dark before the morning

My friend you know how this all ends
You know where you’re going
You just don’t know how you’ll get there
So say a prayer

And hold on cause there’s good for those who love God
But life is not a snapshot
It might take a little time but you’ll see the bigger picture.

Once you feel the weight of glory
All your pain will fade to memory.

It’s just the hurt before the healing.
Oh the pain that you’ve been feeling,
It’s just the dark before the morning

Don't make fun of the little yellow Fiat! My Mom had a white one, but one size up......still v. small....but great on gas. There's actually a brand new Fiat just like your yellow one just on the market...up-dated, of course.
Otherwise, I enjoyed the "song" and the content.
