Our little man met the vast ocean for the first time yesterday. We are in Port Aransas on our annual college reunion beach trip. We arrived Thursday afternoon and headed straight to the beach for a quick photo-op. Here is Josh on the beach. He wasn't quite sure what to think of the waves and sand beneath his toes.
We call this the "Joshua Hors d' oeuvre" or the "Joshua stuffed floaty." Don't you love his little toes squeezed together. Although, you can't tell from his face, he really loves the pool.
This morning, after a good nap, we headed back down to the beach to play in the ocean. He tolerated it pretty well. He did not care for the salt water in his eyes, but who can blame him??? He had fun playing in the sand and watching the waves crash around him. Stay tuned, we have three more days to go of beach fun!
