Josh has finally discovered how fun bath time can be. All those floating things that want to be chased around the tub and the big bubbles that look so yummy, yet have no substance and disappear quickly. He is so fun to watch when he is trying to figure out the concept of the water and his toys floating around him. As you can see from the picture, he wouldn't even look up at the camera for me.... and he never misses an opportunity to show off his cuteness. He is yet to learn to splash, so I can survive bath time without getting my own bath. However, I know the time will come when that won't be true. For now, it is good that at least one of us is clean.

Today our play group celebrated Thomas' first birthday. He is the eldest in the group and therefore holds a great deal of pressure to be the mature and sophisticated one. He does a pretty good job at that, I must say. For example, today he sat on the floor with all the mommies and ate lunch and cupcakes. The other kids were jealous. Get some teeth and maybe you can join us, kids. It is great fun watching the kiddos interact more and more with each other every passing week. Josh loves to watch the other babies and he gets so tickled when they smile at him. We had fun trying out all of Thomas' toys on our kids. Now we know which ones to get for our own house. And of course, the mommy discussions are the best part of the day.... the cheapest therapy there is!
This weekend we are heading back down to Austin for the Jones' annual Forth of July Party! Yeepee! Have a good weekend!
