This post makes me tired just typing....

We are currently in the middle of getting our roof replaced. This means we have 12 hefty men beating the bejesus out of our house everyday from 8am until 6pm. This also means Josh and I have been evacuating the house as much as possible. Which in turn means we have done more in the past 7 days than I thought humanly possible.

Activity #1 : Crazy Fun Bounce House Land, which Josh hated, as you can see from this picture.

Activity #2 : Movie time!!! We went to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in 3-D. Josh lasted about 49 minutes and refused to wear the nerdy 3-D glasses, but we had lots of fun anyway.

Activity #3: Do I really need to explain this one?

Activity #4: Due to meeting a very important potty-training hurdle, Josh got to go to Toys R Us and pick out any toy he wanted as a special reward (less than or equal to $10). He took this task extremely seriously and walked up and down every aisle inspecting every toy very carefully. Of course he was picking out all the $30 toys or car toys that he already owned. Then he saw it. A toy microwave. Oh yes- it has buttons, it has plastic food, it has a very loud beep that sounds just like my real microwave and will for sure confuse me greatly from this day forth. It's the best toy ever.

Activity #5: Lots and lots of park time every afternoon. I do believe we have hit up every park within a 30 mile radius. Here we are with Matt on some strange see-saw contraption that we couldn't figure out.

Activity #6: Playing at the gym an extraordinary amount. Josh loves the gym and asks to go everyday. This has resulted in me running 51 miles this week. That is just insane. Not to mention Chris working like nuts on a case that is going to trial (ha, ha, like cases actually go to trial these days) in November.

Other activities not properly documented (tisk, tisk) included a trip to the super fun "Tube Land" with Matt, story time at the library, a couple lunches at Chicken Play, countless play dates at gracious friend's houses, and an adventurous trip to the mall to see the ducks and turtles which turned into Josh almost swimming with the ducks and turtles, yikes.
It's been quite a week.
