Lollipop, Lollipop!!

On Tuesday morning, Josh slept until 9:15am. Wow. This rarely happens and it was a HUGE treat for me as I had worked that weekend and needed some Zzzzzs. To thank Josh for the extra two hours of sleep I dug out the lollipop he got at a recent doctors appointment. This was his first experience with the sugary goodness known as the lollipop. Josh had cake on his birthday and a cookie a few weeks ago, but never a treat as decadent as this bright blue circle of fun. As he was sucking on it ( I held him in my lap to avoid a big mess)he kept looking up at me as if to say, "Do you realize how good this thing is????" He was so excited. His excitement always attracts Murphy's attention. So here comes Murphy to see what is going on.
My hands could not move fast enough to stop Josh from "sharing" his lollipop with Murphy.
Oh, how sweet, one may think.
Not so much.
Blue lollipop + Long golden locks = Disaster.

Nothing a pair of scissors can't fix.
Poor Murphy.

If you are a fancy cook and would like to try to make your own lollipops, I have a treat for you! Follow the link below to find the famous lollipop recipe from the pastry chef from Le Cirque restaurant.

We are still waiting on Jackson's biopsy results. Thank you all for you sweet emails of prayer and encouragement!

Here are a few fun pictures from this week. I hope they make you smile!

He LOVES these glasses.

Seriously, how cute is this boy?????

Josh-sized hanger.

Josh loves hiding in tight spaces.

He was having a great time popping up and down in the laundry basket.
