Who knew?

Who knew... Sleeping in until 7:15 this morning would be considered sleeping in?

Who knew... my dogs would consume 13 plastic beach toys and survive to leave me evidence days later?

Who knew... Tommy Boy would still be hilarious after 34 viewings?

Who knew... Josh would call me out for stealing a bite of his mac and cheese?

Who knew... No word in the English language rhymes with: month, orange, silver, or purple? I'll give you a few minutes to think on that...

Who knew... Chris would spend 40 hours doing a boring document review without going insane?

Who knew... Josh would enjoy a trip to Target more than a trip to the park?

Who knew... Best friends can continue to show unfailing love day after day after day?

Who knew... A spatula would be more entertaining than a $30 Leap Frog Toy?

Who knew... Josh would finally learn the greatness that is snuggling with Mommy? Ahhh, his hugs and kisses can bring joy to even the worst of days.

Who knew... Permanent markers will in fact come off walls, windows, carpet, and various body parts if you are determined enough?

Who knew... I would ever shutter at the thought of another crafty project on my to-do list?

Who knew... Josh would be brave enough at this young age to tell his girl, "Katie, you're so pretty." (He wouldn't lie to his true love, she is darn cute.)

Who knew... Adding buttermilk to an otherwise ordinary Banana Bread recipe could do magical things?

Who knew... It was possible for Josh to fling veggie yogurt from the kitchen into the dining room with very little effort?

Who knew... Mommy has cat-like reflexes and dodged said veggie yogurt from being planted on my face?

Who knew... Organizing a beach trip for 28 adults, 23 kids, and a few fetus' would ever be simple? Seriously, no hiccups yet. Of course we haven't even left, so we shall see.

Who knew... Listening to angry music while running can produce extreme cheerfulness?

Who knew... Chris was so desperate to relive his college intramural basketball glory days he would wake up at 5 am to play with his buddies?

Who knew... Josh can shove an extraordinary amount of edamame pods into his mouth and still sing "Happy Birthday to you?"

Who knew... I would find myself with nothing better to say than all this rubbish about "who knew...?" And not even a picture to add to this entry. I am pathetic, indeed.
