Ho Ho Ho!
We took a trip to meet Santa ("Sassa" as Josh would say), and Josh did great! He walked right up to him and wished him a " Murry Kissmas" and handed Santa his favorite blue helicopter and said " larlarla!" Poor Santa was confused by this new language, but he played it off quite nicely and wished Josh a jolly Merry Christmas. Thanks to the energetic photographer with a dancing Elmo puppet (and that we were the very first people in line, thanks Erin!), we were lucky to get a "picture perfect" picture! Way to go Josh!

It's only a few weeks before Christmas and if your schedule is anything like ours, you are scrambling around trying to check things off your never-ending list and wishing for a few extra hours in the day. In an effort to help, we have formulated a list of our favorite things to offer some great gift ideas for the people in your life!
Josh's Favorite Things:
1. Brio Train (Green) that moves forward and backward with lights and sounds. (From Barn)2. Thomas the Train Flashlight. Has a button to turn light on and off- Josh says "On Off On Off" over and over. It also moves and has sound. (From Norah)
3. The movie "Cars"
4. "The Learning House Door" by Fisher Price

5. Adidas shoes that don't yet fit him, but he loves to run around the house in them and pretend they do. (From Uncle Phil)
6. John Deere Radio (From Granee and Pa)
7. DK First Words Picture Books (From Uncle Tim)
8. Sippy Cups with straws, like the one seen in this hilarious picture of my two "boys" screaming at each other in the mall food court. 9.Chevron Cars (From MeMe and Barn)
10. Transportation Puzzle that makes sounds like "Beep Beep and Choo Choo" (From Pickles)
Do you see a theme here?
Chris' Favorite Things:
1. Power Tools with interchangeable battery pack. 2. Shop Vac
3. " Charlie Wilson's War" (book)
4. Blackberry phone with GPS
5. Satellite Radio

6. Nike Driver ( From my Dad)
7. Jos A Bank Travelers Dress Shirts

8. Cowboy Boots (must be 10 years old and very worn and stinky to be any good)
9. Me
10. Josh
I didn't want to count #9 and 10 since Josh and I are not viable gift options for you, but it was too sweet of him to say to not include on his list.
Alison's Favorite Things
1. Dyson Vacuum (of course)
2. Chi Hair Straightener
4. Straw dispenser ( From Tricia for my 21st birthday)
5. Life is Good Flannel PJs
6. Modge Podge- for all your crafting needs
7. Silhouette of Josh's profile ( From Aunt Pickles)

8. Quaker Mini Delights - good stocking stuffer instead of high calorie Snickers.
9. L'Occitane Verbena Bath Soap (the lady in your life will love anything from this store, I promise)

10. Pottery Barn Rolodex
I hope this helps! Good luck shopping!

Good job, Josh, for not being afraid of Santa! Kissmas hugs from Pickies.
PS. If you put rice cakes in my stocking, I'll pound you.
The "fav" list is great! I particularly like the pic of Chris and Josh at the food court. I'm not the only dad doing stupid stuff!!! Haha!
