Santa is not my friend

We have done so much in the past two days the only way for me to document is through pictures......


Saturday Morning

Seemingly, Josh does not know who this guy is and why he is loved by so many! How can Josh expect to get presents under the tree when he treats the poor old man like this? Needless to say, Josh did not care for Santa.

On Saturday, we went to the firm's family Christmas party. It was quite impressive. There was ice skating, gingerbread house -making, puppet shows, face painting, a wood shop with elves, and games. Rudolph the Red-Nose reindeer was even there for the kids to pet. Actually, I did not confirm it was actually RUDOLPH. It could have been Donner or Dancer, maybe even Comet, or Blitzen. There is no way of knowing, but I have a feeling it was Rudolph. There was so much for the kids to do, how can you choose? What did we choose to do with our time, you ask? We stood in line to get this FABULOUS picture with Santa for almost 2 hours. Oh well, it was still fun to see all the kids run around and the parents chase after them.

After the firm party, our friends Josh, Amber, and Mason came over to visit. Here is a great picture of Big Josh giving Little Josh the giggles.
Little Josh and Mason had a great time playing with Josh's new train. Mason is a big fan of Thomas the Train and they came to town to visit the amazing train exhibit at the mall. I think they got to meet Santa as well. I hope Mason was nicer to him than Josh was.

Sunday Afternoon

"Someone help me!!!"

Are we cruel or what? We thought one session of Santa-torture wasn't enough, so we tried again. We went to the Arboretum Christmas Party with Santa, and Josh STILL didn't like the guy.

Faye and Hanna went with us to the Arboretum party. Doesn't Hanna's hat crack you up? It's her "Mrs. Clause turns Pimp" hat.

Sunday Evening


After a few Cheerios and some serious tickling, Josh forgave us for subjecting him to that AWFUL man in the red suit. Here he is helping Chris with the weekly baby-proofing project.
