Our sweet boy was transformed into the ultimate Jedi Master for Halloween. He had no trouble slipping in and out of character throughout the month of October. Sometimes, I think he got the peaceful Jedi confused with the wicked Darth Vader as he tried to attack me with his light saber, but with a gentle reminder, he popped back into the nicely mannered Star Wars character.
Causing further identity confusion, Josh had to wear his non-scary, non-masked, Superman costume to his Pre-K school party. As you can see, it was quite the crowd of super heros and princesses.
Chris' firm had a very special party for all the firm kids and invited them for some office trick or treating, a pizza party, and a fun carnival! What a great idea! Josh and I had so much fun meeting all of Chris' co-workers and disrupting the normally quite and respectful law firm all afternoon. Me, my two babies, and our skeleton shirts.

I LOVE this picture! Maggie didn't know WHAT to think about Josh and his green face paint. Here he is saying, "Maggie, it's just me... Joshua!"
Before heading out to Trick or Treat on Halloween night, Josh and I made candy apples and watched Charlie Brown's Halloween movie. We had a great time, and man... candy apples are SO, SO yummy!!!

Josh remembered his Jedi manners while trick or treating and greeted each home owner with the following request in his very BEST Yoda accent:
"Candy, you give to me please?"
It was priceless. Of course, we practiced this line for weeks leading up to Halloween.
Another funny moment of the night was when we found ourselves at one of his little school friend's house. She saw Josh through the window, but had no idea who he was because of the face paint and all. So, I said to Josh, "Tell her who you are, Josh. She doesn't recognize you!" He then yelled, in a very clear voice,
"It's me, YODA!!!!"
It was hilarious.

Trick or treat buddies.
Once home, Chris and Josh had fun going through the loot and picking out their favorites.
Finally, way past his normal bedtime, we threw Josh in a special Halloween glow in the dark bath to restore him to his usual non-green Joshua self.
It was a very fun Halloween this year. Josh LOVED getting in character, stock piling enough candy for the next year, and celebrating with his favorite friends.
